Beach Day

We only spent one day at the beach. Ava doesn't care for the sand and won't get close to the water. So since we had a pool that was zero-entry style, we spent almost every day at the pool instead. It was much more relaxing but we had to at least go to the beach for a little bit. The picture above is a view of our resort building from the beach. It was very nice.
Isaac just chillin at the beach. It was great because they had chairs and umbrellas all set up so we didn't have to worry about shade for our little man. He loved it. :)

Just soaking up the sun.

A family picture.
Ava wearing Daddy's sunglasses. She thought it was way too bright! Silly girl!

Vacation Fun!

Ava watching the boats out of the window in our room. We had an amazing view of the inlet and could watch the boats come and go. It was free entertainment for Ava and kept her busy when we weren't at the pool or beach! :)
Isaac all ready for bed.
Just finished eating his breakfast. Probably pears or bananas with oatmeal. This boy loves to eat!

Ava chillin after a day at the pool. She's exhausted!

Relaxing with Daddy!

All ready for the pool!

And of course, just because we are on vacation doesn't mean she can't watch Mickey Mouse. She was so happy they had the Disney channel! :)

What a fun vacation

We had a great time this past week on vacation. As you can see, so did Isaac. We spent almost the entire time at the pool. Ava didn't care for the beach but loved the zero-entry style pool. We will post more pictures soon.

Pictures

Here are just a few of the pictures that I have gotten onto our computer so far. I'm working on the rest and hope to have them up soon.
Feeding the swans with Great-Uncle Dave.
Snuggle time with Great-Aunt Judy.

We love GIGI!!

Mama and Ava feeding the ducks.

Picnic at the park with the Clouse side.

Still feeding the ducks.

In a really long dragon boat in Rochester, MN. It is a boat for breast cancer.

Chasing the ducks..."I have bread!"

More ducks with Great-Uncle Lyle! I think they are getting sick of us!

I'm so brave! She loved going down this slide. This is in Winona, MN. We stopped there on our way to Rochester. It was great being back in Winona, I love that town! :)

Nana and Isaac riding a horse.

Feeding the fish in Marshfield.

This vacation thing is tiring!

Eating at Papa and Nana's.

Great fun with Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Cattanach

Their nightly routine...eat popcorn and watch a movie! She misses her popcorn buddy!

Trip to Wisconsin

We just got back from our 2 week trip to Wisconsin. We had so much fun but we were also glad to be back home. I will try to put up as many pictures as I can. Everyone loved meeting Isaac and Ava had a blast with her cousins, both sets of grandparents, many extended family members and all the geese at the park! (all she wanted to do was "go feed ducks!") We hope you enjoy the pictures and thank you to everyone for making our trip so wonderful & enjoyable.

We love Aunt Katie!

My cousin Katie came down last week for a visit and to meet Isaac. We loved having her here. She was a huge help and Ava loved all the attention. We had fun going to the pool, playing soccer and watching The World Cup, going to Sea World and just spending time together. We were very sad to see her leave but we are looking forward to Christmas when we will see her again. Thank you so much for coming down Katie, We Love You!
Bonding time with Katie
Katie is very good at cutting hair and Ava was in need of a trim. She did much better with Katie than I could imagine she would do at a salon. And it looks great!

Katie and Ava hanging out.

Our little man enjoying Sea World!

The Four of us waiting at Sea World for the dolphin show. This was the best show! And Ava will tell you all about the bird that almost landed on our heads during the show. She thought it was hilarious! :)

Aunt Katie teaching Ava how to swim...while holding Isaac! What a great Aunt!

And of course, some girl time painting finger and toe nails! :)

Two Wonderful Kids!

Here are some pictures of the kids. They are two wonderful kids! We thoroughly enjoy spending time with them and love seeing them try new things and grow up. We have been busy trying to stay cool. It has gotten really hot here in Orlando and we stay inside most of the time. Isaac is now 3 months old and is growing up fast. He always has a smile for everyone and is one of the happiest babies! He sleeps from about 7:30-5:30 every night and then goes back to sleep right away until 8:00. We are very blessed! Ava is starting to talk more and more every day. She still loves Minnie Mouse but has become a huge fan of her Littlest Pet Shop friends and Little Peoples. She went to see Toy Story 3 with Daddy last week for her first theatre experience. She loved it and Daddy loved the time alone with her bonding (and they both loved the popcorn!).
Growing up so fast! I can sit up in my Bumbo seat now...too bad it's pink from Ava! :)
After a bath all wrapped up in his doggy towel.

Just sitting on the couch hanging out.

She LOVES her baby brother!

Daddy went to New York City this week and Ava missed him a lot. When he got back, they snuggled in bed for a long time. And played with her 'silly bands' of course! Daddy bought her some while he was gone and she loved them, but what kid doesn't these days!

Taking a bath.

Our LIttle Minnie Mouse

Can you tell that Ava loves Minnie? She got this shirt for her birthday from her friend Gavin. Isn't she adorable?!!!

Isaac - 2 Months!

Random Pics

I finally got a chance to upload some pictures that we have taken over the past few weeks. They are all really random but I thought they were cute anyway. We are doing good. Isaac is getting so big and Ava is still so good with him. I can put him on the floor to play and she just sits down next to him. She is a great big sister! The weather has quickly warmed up and we are trying to stay cool as much as possible which means we aren't doing much of anything except staying inside the house. We are going to try a trip to Sea World here soon...I'll take lots of pictures that day! I take Isaac to his 2-month appointment on Friday. I'm very excited to see how much he weighs and how big he has gotten.
All Smiles for Mommy this time! :) He's so handsome!
Smelling a rose that Daddy picked for her.

Getting so big!

This is how you will normally find them in the morning. Isaac staring at Ava while she eats her breakfast.

Our sweet puppy. FYI...we are very sad to announce that we are looking for a nice home for Shadow. She is GREAT with the kids but I can't handle cleaning up the house from all the hair and we just don't have time for her anymore. :( If you know of anyone, please let us know!

Daddy and her sweetheart snuggling.

Isaac's first trip to the beach. This was a VERY short trip. About 2 minutes after we got there, Ava got sand in her eye and kept rubbing it which means more sand in her eyes. So, after about 45 minutes, we called it quits and headed home. We drove 50 minutes there, stayed for 45 minutes and then drove 50 minutes back home! It was a very memorable trip and we won't be trying that again anytime soon.

His favorite spot...on the floor kicking his arms and legs.

They love each other!
