Thanksgiving Visit to WI

We took a trip to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving. Sorry for the lack of pictures the last few months. We haven't done a whole this fall so there weren't too many pictures to share. Here are the pictures from our trip. We had a blast and it was so good to see most of Curt's family. The kids had a lot of fun but we were all a little disappointed that they didn't have snow! :( But it was nice not to be freezing too.

Ava's First Day of School

Ava started three-year old preschool this past week. She is attending Lifesong Preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It's a preschool program for ages one through four at a local church. She was so excited to be a big girl and go to school. She loved it the first day and couldn't wait to go back on Thursday. Luckily, she has a few friends from our church that are also in her class. So that makes the transition much easier. Isaac and I are a little sad on the days that she is in school but it is so nice to spend some time with my little man. It's going to be a great year!

Luckily, Papa and Nana were able to be here for her first day of school. This made it even more exciting!
Daddy and the school girl. Daddy flew straight to New York City for work immediately after dropping her off. She loved that Daddy took her to school.
Our family! I can't believe how big our kids have gotten!

Papa and Nana Visit!

Papa and Nana just came for a 9 day visit. Wow! We had a ton of fun! We haven't seen them since our visit out to Colorado for Christmas/New Years. We sure have missed them. Here are some pictures from their visit. We didn't do a whole lot since it was so hot outside and they are not used to all of our humidity. We just enjoyed staying inside the air conditioning and having fun together!
Papa and Isaac fell asleep on the couch. This is my favorite picture!
Our handsome little man. He's growing way too fast!
Our cookie monster who is supposed to be winding down for bed. Instead, he has one of his three blankies on his head. And yes, he has three blankies and will not go anywhere without them.
Ava making peanut butter cookies for Daddy.
Rolling the cookies in sugar!
Isaac is in love with banana bread. And I really mean in love with it. He has eaten almost a loaf a week! We had to make more when he finished the first batch. I might have to buy stock in bananas! So in this picture and the next one, he is SO excited for the banana bread to get done baking.
Waiting and watching patiently...sometimes!
We took a trip to the beach one afternoon. It was beautiful. A storm was rolling in but that made it much cooler and not so miserable. Ava loves the beach but Isaac is still terrified of sand and the water. But we have fun anyway...until we went to leave. We were attacked by very mean mosquitoes. They hurt when they bit and Ava and Isaac were screaming. That part of the beach trip was not so much fun but we quickly threw everyone and everything in the van and slammed the doors shut. Ava was shook up and probably got about 15 bites. She then had an allergic reaction to them and swelled up pretty bad. She's all better now but hopefully we will not have another encounter with mosquitoes in the near future.

Dad and Mom --- Thank you so much for coming down! We love you!

Ava's First Sleepover!

Ava had her first sleepover last month. It was a big hit! Her friend Bre came over around 6:00 and we had so much fun. Curt was out of town until late that night so I was on my own with three kids. Didn't go too bad! :)
Ava and her best friend Bre in their matching dresses. Bre bought this dress for Ava for her birthday and they look so cute together!
Ava and Bre showing off their matching finger nails. After Isaac went to bed, we did a little pampering and I painted their finger and toe nails.
Then they opened their sleepover goody bags. This was a big hit as they had everything the same! :) The thought it was the coolest thing ever!

Ava and Bre blowing bubbles outside. This was in their goody bag!
Ava so excited to be having a sleepover with her best friend! :)

In their pj's eating a bedtime snack and watching Tinkerbell. They are getting sleepy!
All curled up in bed. And they actually slept! I was expecting to go into the room several times to tell them to stop talking but within 5 minutes, they were snoring and out like a light! It was a VERY successful first sleepover!

Eating breakfast together in the morning.
The next morning playing already! :)

Ava's 3rd Birthday

Here is our little 3 Year Old Princess. For her 3rd birthday, we took her to Bibbity Bobbity Boutique down at Disney. It was an incredible, once in a lifetime experience! She loved it and is still talking about it. It wouldn't have been possibly without some of our friends who donated money for the boutique and got us into Disney's Magic Kingdom for FREE!!! We have too many pictures to post so I made this little collage of the princess transformation.
