Papa and Nana Visit!

Papa and Nana just came for a 9 day visit. Wow! We had a ton of fun! We haven't seen them since our visit out to Colorado for Christmas/New Years. We sure have missed them. Here are some pictures from their visit. We didn't do a whole lot since it was so hot outside and they are not used to all of our humidity. We just enjoyed staying inside the air conditioning and having fun together!

Isaac is in love with banana bread. And I really mean in love with it. He has eaten almost a loaf a week! We had to make more when he finished the first batch. I might have to buy stock in bananas! So in this picture and the next one, he is SO excited for the banana bread to get done baking.

We took a trip to the beach one afternoon. It was beautiful. A storm was rolling in but that made it much cooler and not so miserable. Ava loves the beach but Isaac is still terrified of sand and the water. But we have fun anyway...until we went to leave. We were attacked by very mean mosquitoes. They hurt when they bit and Ava and Isaac were screaming. That part of the beach trip was not so much fun but we quickly threw everyone and everything in the van and slammed the doors shut. Ava was shook up and probably got about 15 bites. She then had an allergic reaction to them and swelled up pretty bad. She's all better now but hopefully we will not have another encounter with mosquitoes in the near future.
