We took a trip to Vero Beach yesterday to visit Curt's Uncle Tom and his family. We had a great time visiting with Uncle Tom, Aunt Paulette and cousins Matthew and Alison. Thank you so much for having us and we had a great time! Here are a few pictures of Ava having fun at the beach and at their pool. Unfortunately, we forgot to get pictures of Ava with anyone....oops!

Ava and her buddy Gavin
She loves her...
We're Back Home!
Ava and I got back home on Thursday. We had a very good flight and was blessed to have a wonderful couple sitting next to us on the plane. They were very helpful and loved entertaining Ava the entire 4-hour flight! :) They offered to hold her, constantly pick up her toys, hold my snacks and drink while Ava was sleeping on me, and stop the rush of people off the plane so we could get off. I don't think we would have made it without them! God was really watching over us!

Here are some pictures from the rest of our trip. We had a great time and I miss all of my family so much already. I hope one day we can live closer! As you will see in some pictures, it looks like Ava has a black eye. On Tuesday, she woke up with a very swollen bottom eye lid but it didn't seem to bother her too much. I took her to the doctor when we got back and it ends up that she had a stye on the inside of her eye lid so we got her on some antibiotics and it's all better now!

Ava with her swollen eye! Poor little girl but she still looks so adorable! :)

WE LOVE...
WE LOVE COLORADO!!!
We are loving being in Colorado. The weather has been wonderful. It has rained a little but for the most part, it is around 75 and sunny. The mountains are gorgeous! Ava is really having fun playing with her cousins Emily and Alex. Emily is now 3 and Ava loves to just follow her all over and copy whatever she is doing. Luckily, Emily just loves it too. She has also had a lot of fun playing with Papa and Nana in their new home. We have been helping them unpack and decorate the house. One day, Uncle Mike and Aunt Char came down to my parents house for dinner and to see the kids. Unfortunately, Ava was very clingy and we did not get a picture with them but we had a great time visiting. The next day we drove up the mountain to Estes Park to visit with Uncle Mike and Aunt Char again and to see their house. Nana stayed home with the 2 babies while Papa, Jenn, Emily and I had a fun day in the mountains. One day, we went to a sculpture park just a few blocks from my parents house. It was incredible with so many different sculptures. The kids loved looking at them. We are having a great time and will update with more pictures in a few more days!

Splash Park
Ava and I went to a splash park today with our friends Katie and Gavin. Luckily, Ava is still so petite that she still fits in her infant carrier and still has to be rear-facing but at least we could all ride in 1 car. She enjoyed the ride because she could sit back and look at Gavin....and HOLD HIS HAND!!! It was so cute. Katie and I looked back at them and they were just sitting there holding hands. You can't see Ava since she's rear-facing but you can see that they are holding hands.

They had so much fun at the splash park. Here a some of the pictures that I took. We're lovin' Florida!!! :)
