Tornado Warning

Here we are camped out in the bathtub during a tornado warning that was issued last night. It was really bad outside and the meteorologists advised everyone to take shelter. They spotted a tornado about 10 miles from us but luckily the storm was moving pretty fast and ended up going more north and missed us. We had a great time in the bathroom though....Ava thought it was great! And she got to stay up late too! She was a little confused why she was in the bathtub with a blanket instead of water! It was so cute!

My newest sewing project

Yesterday we went over to our friend Katie's house and had a sewing day. We love our sewing days. Kaylie, Ava and Lucas have fun playing together while the mommies explore new projects! :) Here is the dress that I made for Ava yesterday. Isn't it adorable!?! Thanks Katie...we had a great time!

Vero Beach

We took a trip to Vero Beach yesterday to visit Curt's Uncle Tom and his family. We had a great time visiting with Uncle Tom, Aunt Paulette and cousins Matthew and Alison. Ava's best buddy Gavin came over yesterday to play. They played with her toys, went in the pool and ate dinner together! Katie fed both of them while I was making dinner for the two of us. Ava cried when Gavin had to leave....so cute!
